Sam A Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 My application was verified a while ago. I just submitted a new round of apps- why does my status read "awaiting materials" instead of "complete" or "verified"? My deadline is Jan 15th and they have to be complete by then! HELP
plume Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Each application is separately verified. If another batch of apps were already verified, a new round will still need to go through the verification process. CSDCAS says this could take up to 4 weeks, but it's usually shorter in my limited experience. "Awaiting materials" usually refers to your transcripts—have you already approved all transcripts? Maybe you can call CSDCAS to check on this! https://portal.csdcas.org/csdcasHelpPages/instructions-and-faq/beginning-the-application/application-statuscsdcas-e-mails-and-notifications/
k_kismet Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Although their website is kind of difficult to maneuver and understand in parts (as least for me). By calling them I talked to someone who was really nice and helped me understand- so I would definitely give them a call
a1jf1 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I am the parent of a student applying and I have tried to help her wade through the hellish website that is CSDCAS. It is the worst example of efficiency that I have ever seen. It amazes me that they are so inept at what they do.
