greekvasepainting Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Hello, all! I am an Art Historian seeking advice from others who have studied, or focus in, the Italian language. Can anyone recommend an intensive, rigorous summer Italian course, preferably located in Italy? This summer I want to improve my spoken and written Italian (currently at the A2 level) but most language schools in Italy are geared towards retirees and tourists... I've heard the five-week course at the University of Bologna is strong, but have not been able to find reviews online.
travelgirl125 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Have you looked into the Middlebury summer language program? It's a really highly rated immersion summer program, but the Italian one is located in California. Other than that, I'm sure the Universita' per Stranieri di Perugia has summer courses. I looked into them myself and believe they have a good reputation, but I'm not 100% certain on that.
