Roa Ni Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Hello, I was informed by JHU CMDB at Jan.22 that I was placed on the waited list. Having consulted other applicants, I found that most of them even did not receive any e-mail from JHU. Also, there is no CMDB result posted in this forum. Does it mean the CMDB program has been declined in this academic year? Should I e-mail to CMDB program ask for the priority? Currently I have been admitted by UGA, UMass Med and is likely to be admitted by NYU Sackler, should I wait for the CMDB program or just confirm an offer I have had now? Thanks jmillar and systemicpoisoning 1 1
RNAguy Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 The interview weekend for JHU CMDB was last weekend and they only have the one official weekend. They said it was a historic size for them since they normally only matriculate around 15. We had 47 there and 10 more are coming to interview either this week or next week. They said that they would get back to everyone within a reasonable amount of time. Idk what that means exactly, but looking at past years, acceptances were given out late February. And then they still need to wait until people actually respond. Personally if I were you, yes you have the acceptances right now but normally you don't have to commit until April 15th. That is so far away I wouldn't even think about committing anywhere until at minimum early march. But if you think that you wouldn't want to anyways, then go for it. Confirm one of the offers. And also just wondering, when did you hear back from UMass Med?? I'm waiting to hear back from them.

The dean e-mailed me to check my application status on the application website.
The Precambrian Rabbit Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Are you international? JHU CMDB has very limited spots, and does rolling admission for internationals. I just declined the offer from them. Hope to get you off the waitlist!
