Tennisfan152
I haven't heard back from cornell, ucla, Columbia, UT austin, uiuc and cmu. Should I assume that I will be rejected or will some also consider me for masters?
luisalasnjr
Well I would not assume anything until the April 15 deadline. In my case I applied to 8 schools and I have only heard from 2 of them, so there is still chance. What's your program?
Edotdl
While I won't tell you whether or not you should assume you'll be rejected, I will say your chances are not good - esp. if you applied for PhD and visits/interviews already occured. Whether or not you decide to keep your hopes up depends on your personality.
luisalasnjr
I found a really good article about four different scenarios when getting decisions from grad schools. I recommend people to read it, it definitively gave me some good ideas: http://www.uni.edu/~gotera/gradapp/results.htm
