Penn State applicants

I am the one who had the phone interview with a professor. He gave me some good information that I thought I would share with you all in case you were interested. He said that they have already made about five offers and that they have a narrowed it down to about twenty applicants to decide on the last five to seven spots. He said that they will be making their decisions in about the next ten days or so. I hope this helps and not stresses people out. Here's to hearing good news for all of us!

Oh that is good to know. I did apply there but I'm certain I'm not one of the people they are considering. I hope they notify all the rejections shortly after that, so at least then I'll have one rejection down and 13 more to go!

I'm one of the new Penn State posters on the results page... I got an email from DGS about a phone call to discuss the program... which I'm assuming means "interview".

I guess I'll find out in a few days!

Hey nderin04, I don't know if you've already had your call, but I'm the other person that recently posted that I received an email from a potential advisor asking to discuss my application. It turned out to be an acceptance! Hope yours is the same!!

Congrats! I'm not sure about March, I work weekends, but I am definitely going to try to make it.
