schlechtdurchdacht
Hello! I'm wondering if anyone has advice about whether it's a good idea to follow up with professors of interest after a rejection. Is it weird to just leave those email conversations hanging? Is it awkward to email just to acknowledge the rejection (which presumably they already know about or don't care about) and thank them again? Does the best approach change if I may plan to apply to the same program again? Thanks!
nobraintrain
I wound still thank them fro whatever assistance/communication you had and also would try to keep at least some links "open". Even if you won't apply there again, it's a small world and there is a chance that you'll meet these people in some capacity later.
