Megillah Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Hey Everyone, I need help choosing which university to go to! I narrowed it down to Gatech and Penn (University of Pennsylvania) from the following list: Gatech, Penn, USC (Southern California), Wisconsin-Madison, Columbia, Brown, Rutgers Interest: Computer Vision and Deep Learning Cost Restrictions: None. I am willing to figure out how to pay if the university is worth going to. Goal: Planning to do a PhD after my masters. Therefore, I plan to do a lot of research during my MS. I was able to narrow down to these 2 universities based on professors and research done at these places in CV. I am leaning towards Gatech but I'd like to hear some advice from others on future prospects of getting into good PhD programs from either school. Also, let me know if you think I should consider any of the other schools on the list. Thank you in advance!
zaphyr Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 I 'd rather to go for Gatech if I were you. It's very renowned in the field of machine learning, machine vision, signal processing, and any related field. By the way, congrats for your admissions.
