mppgal55
For those of you who applied and were admitted to GWU's MPP program, how many years of work experience do you have? And in what sectors (public, private, etc.)? I was admitted a few weeks ago. I'm graduating in May with my BA, so I have zero work experience. I do, however, have 6 relevant (government/law) internship experiences, including a semester interning in DC.
tammy-san
I got my acceptance today and I was in the Peace Corps for 2 years, and am working for a non-profit right now.
policyaz
I was accepted a couple of weeks ago and I graduated last August. I've had a couple of good internships, but my work experience since graduation hasn't really been relevant to Public Policy.
stilesg57
I got in last year with 2.5 years. No financial aid.
oxana
I had no full-time work experience. 1 year of internships/coops, 1-2 years of part-time research and academic oriented jobs. All of which were not related to government, law, or public policy.
