TheHeretic Posted May 26, 2017 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Hey! I'm finishing up my master's in marriage and family therapy and will be applying to school psychology Ph.D. programs this fall. Just curious if there is anyone out there who have a master's degree in MFT and are either in or are considering to be in a school psychology Ph.D. program. mcg678 Posted June 1, 2017 Share Posted June 1, 2017 I'm am finishing up my MA in Counseling Psychology (not the same as MFT, but close...) and I am also considering PhD programs for School Psychology. I'll be doing my practicum in a high school starting in the fall, so I'm hoping that will give me a better feel for what it might be like to work in a school vs. an outside practice.
