RS Skuld Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I've always had good grades throughout high school and first 2 years of uni. Then starting in the later half of my 3rd year, I begun to slack and ended up with sub par grades in my last two years. Now with a GPA that just barely reaches the minimum requirement of most grad schools, I have already been rejected once, and the most promising prospective PI I've had interviewed with just told me that he can't take me due to insufficient funding. I don't know what to do now. Keep applying? The chances are not high and I'll have to go for next year's winter or summer terms. Find a job? What kind of jobs can I find with a Bachelor of science degree that can also help me to apply for grad school in the future? Other professional schools? What kind of schools I can get in with a bachelor of science and B to B+ grades? Any help or suggestion is appreciated. Thanks! P.S. I live in Canada
rising_star Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Can you take a graduate course somewhere to show you're capable of doing graduate work? Can you get a research position in a lab?
