I figured I wouldn't clutter the main results thread with this, but does anyone want to claim the Syracuse admit and wait list on the results page? Has anyone else applied to Syracuse and (not) heard anything back yet?

Comparative (Middle East, democratization focus). It's interesting that both results postings were by international applicants. Barring, of course, that the results were not real, maybe they notified international applicants first?

I applied, also comparative, and haven't heard anything back. I haven't heard anything from a single school...starting to wonder if I didn't actually apply to graduate school or something.

finally heard from them, first notification from any of my ten schools, but it was a no as well. oh well?

Anyone claim any of the acceptances from Syracuse? I thought I was a good fit there, although one of the professors I mentioned in my SoP is apparently leaving to teach at American Univ.

Its certainly a weird position to be in! I personally haven't heard from a couple of schools that I know have announced both acceptances and rejections. I keep telling myself that 'no news is good news.' I'm assuming that they have several rounds of admissions and they're narrowing down the list?

I hope so, but they have already waitlisted other people. So I'm not sure what to think?
