an_abominable_bride Posted September 10, 2017 Share Posted September 10, 2017 I want to apply to Machine learning and Computer Vision programs for Fall 2018.I have a CGPA of 9.5 over 10 and a decent profile with one pub in an international conference. I would like to target top univs like CMU, EPFL etc. Do you think the low Quants score will hurt? I haven't received the AWA score but it should be 5ish. Kambiz Posted October 6, 2017 Share Posted October 6, 2017 Hi buddy, Your score is fantastic. The verbal is brilliant and enough. About the Quant, although it is not perfect, the 167 is a good score. In the nutshell, It's up to your university that you want to apply. AWA 5 and overall 332 is good for top 20 universities. You have high chance to compete with others. About top 10 : maybe you must have the good academic resume like strong pub and good recommendations.
