mkt40210
I'm interested in obtaining a MPH in global health, but also considering social behavior / urban health tracks, depending on what the university offers for its programs. I'm specifically looking to study a field that addresses health disparities and social justice for minorities (I have a particular interest working with refugees). Right now I am considering 6 schools based on their program offerings and their locations. I want to pursue a degree where there is an opportunity to work with refugees and establish connections I can leverage once I complete my degree. The schools I have on my list so far are Boston U, Brown, George Washington, Yale, University of Maryland and Rutgers. I'm curious to know thoughts about University of Maryland's program, to see if it's worth applying to two different schools within the DC region. I'd also love to hear thoughts on any other schools in general, either in my list or not! I've read a lot of posts that have been helpful, but I'm always open to hearing some words of advice.
