I skyped one of the professors there last month. Both sides were quite positive about the possibility of admission.
However, I am still a little bit concerned about the graduation rate and the courses, since I do not consider myself having a strong math background. Both my BS and MS are in engineering and I have some experiences and basic courses in PDE. Wonder if this is enough for a start.
