Laoceberg
Hi, I am applying to biostatistics programs and I have two questions about sophas recommendation letter. 1) Does my recommendation need to be a general one?(without school name and address) 2) Some school requires applying in their own website after submitted sophas application. Do I need to submit my recommendations to that school, even I already submitted on sophas? Thank you so much, Laoce
Cal1gula
Yes, all the schools will see the same LOR, so keep it general. As far as I know, no school that uses SOPHAS requires you to submit a LOR separately to their website.
Rasb91
Yes, you have to keep your LoR's general when you submit to SOPHAS. As for the supplemental application, most schools who are in SOPHAS don't require to submit your LoR's, SoP ... etc. This is obviously redundant and they understand that. You just have to provide some basic information and pay a fee (if required). Edited December 2, 2017 by Rasb91
