Trouble with NDSEG fellowship reference link

Does anyone also have a problem with getting a reference link ? 

According to the website, "Completion of Three (3) reference forms (The link to references will be listed in the automated acknowledgement of application submission email). Please remember to check your spam/junk folders if you do not receive the email, or contact us). This link should be forwarded to the persons who will complete the reference. References will automatically attach to your application"

However, I did not get such a link like that .... I wonder if I'm the only one who is having this issue...

You need to fill out every field and click "Save" at the bottom of the application. You can just put a random character in the required fields if you're not ready to complete them yet, and then go back and change it later. If you did that and still don't have the reference link, I would contact them.

Edit: It looks like they also added the form as a download on the website. You can send that to your references, and they can fill it out and email it in.

Is there a way to confirm that references have been submitted / received by our recommenders ? I reached out to confirm that the link worked for my recommenders and one said they had submitted but I would have had no way of knowing for the one I haven't heard from.
