eduKate Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 (edited) I need to choose between UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, and University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I am totally lost as to what to do, because I like all of the schools for different reasons. What would you do if you were facing this choice? Does anyone have any advice? I am interested in doing research, not a degree for practicing teachers. Edited February 25, 2010 by eduKate

I guess you are at the toughest point having an approach-approach conflict.I can understand why cos all of these schools are amazing. However,if I were you I would go for University of Michigan,Ann Arbor. It's an excellent school with great faculty. My cousin went there and loved every moment of it.Second preference would go probably for UC Davis. Good luck! Edited February 25, 2010 by aditi123
kismetcapitan Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 UC Santa Barbara is in an absolutely beautiful location. Davis is....not so pretty. Ann Arbor is fairly meh as well, but I can't be objective - I'm from that area and in fact still own a house in Ann Arbor despite the fact that I live in Seoul Korea. U Mich is my second choice; my application is done, and I'll click send if Harvard doesn't work out.
phd2prof Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Univ of Mich.... Definitely. Has a strong rep for educ programs. For perfect weather & a beautiful city- santa barbara is the one... but I would definitely go blue...
