Sub Teaching and Becoming an SLP

Currently I sub teach. Can you guys think of any other ways that show that sub teaching has skills beneficial in being an SLP. This is what I put. What do you guys think?

• Implement lesson plans in different classrooms with students of different age groups and various educational needs

• Teach students diverse subjects through discussions and active listening

• Ensure student engagement in learning through effective classroom management

• Encourage, monitor and promote student progress

I was a substitute teacher as well. When I wrote my statement, I high lighted specific students with complex communication needs and what I did as a substitute teacher to help them.
