  5. I heard back from them yesterday morning (the 11th) by email. Are you going into organic chemistry too? I think that each division makes its decision at different times.
  6. Thanks Amirhossein B and twb! I don't really have a top choice since I wanna visit the schools first before I decide. And yeah I'm gonna be doing organic synthesis, looking forward to it . How about you guys?
  7. Had to wake up in the wee hours to drive my sister to school, came back and got my acceptance email from MIT! Here are my stats GPA: cumulative 3.88, major 4.00 GRE: V 154/64%, Q 164/91%, AW 4.5/72%, chem 850/88% 1.5 years of research experience in a synthesis lab, 1 publication (2nd author) Not really sure about my LORs but probably 2 good ones from different research advisors and 1 ok from a professor
  8. For MIT, they're offering 2,530/month which turns out to be 30,360. Makes sense since the living cost in Cambridge is really high...
