I received a Type B SSHRC on my third time this year! After a lot of thought over the past few months I have realized, however, that academia is not the right fit for me and I will be leaving my PhD. I do wish I knew that earlier so I wouldnt have applied. I will be turning down the SSHRC and, as I understand it, someone will be bumped up! Good luck to those still waiting to hear! Snail mail really is the worst!

I haven't contributed to this forum this year, but just wanted to say that I sit on my university's Grad Faculty Board and I asked for an update at today's meeting and the university has been told the end of April and has not heard otherwise.

Sadly, I am going to have to agree. Emailed the graduate office at my school and this was their reply, "SSHRC has not posted any results I just checked our secure website. Not sure how other institutions are hearing. Vanier are the only results available." Disappointing.

SSHRC tweeted that PhD results are on track for the end of April!

(Not to get hopes up but...) I was told by a professor and the Dean of Graduate Affairs that the results should be out in the next two weeks. Fingers crossed they're right!
