  1. Do all schools that use ApplyYourself update the status of the applications? I can't find where that info would be on the ApplyYourself application.
  2. I think I can top that. I thought responses would start coming later, and I was taken by surprise when a professor emailed me saying to expect an official letter soon. I didn't respond to that. Ooops. I hadn't realized I should. And now, of course, it's too late to do so, because what will it look like to respond a week later? I RSVP'd to their open house at least.
  3. Thanks! I was worrying I was missing some important official list.
  4. I'm feeling somewhat obtuse... I'm out of school since last spring, so maybe I'm just a bit out of the loop. But where is everyone finding the lists of admitted and rejected applicants for each school? Or am I misreading things and no such thing exists?
  5. Definitely applying: Yale Columbia NYU CUNY Grad Harvard UPenn Considering: UConn Princeton My area of focus is medieval literature. I'm limited to sticking near New York, but I'm lucky that there are plenty of strong medieval programs around here. Lately I've been focusing on Arthurian literature, but there are very few programs that fit that (Purdue is one, but a- they don't admit directly into the PhD, and b- it's too far from NY). I'm also interested in adaptations of medieval literature, ie medievalisms.
