They did ask me number 1, but not number 2! I'd keep an answer ready for that though, I feel like my interview was shorter than most (I think they're usually about 13 min long? I was surprised by how short mine was)

Just know why you want to go to the UK, why you're the right person, and what you would do there and you will be fine (and read some news)

UK folks- just had my interview, it was about 8 minutes tops! They are very relaxed. I am hoping I was coherent, I think I talked way too fast lol

Yes, the full grant is the most competitive because there are only 4 spots and a ton of applicants. With the partnership grants you're only competing against people who applied for the same specific grant as you.

I guess by "by Thursday the 14th" they meant "ON Thursday the 14th"! Btw did you guys notice that on the projected awards that there were 46 awards listed instead of 36? I thought that was a little strange. But hey, the more, the merrier, I suppose!

No news from Fulbright on my side (though I've got a phone interview with my school on Friday), but I was just curious as my school informed me that Fulbright had asked them to look at my application, so I know that there's been movement on my stuff at least, even if I'm not hearing from them!

UK partnership folks- question for you. Have you already applied/been accepted to your school, apart from the Fulbright?

Yes, the UK requires phone interviews, I believe they're supposed to take place in February.

Haha I got lucky with mine! My workplace is only a half hour drive from my uni, so I managed to snag a late afternoon slot and say I had to leave work early for "a family thing"
