  1. Haha I haven't heard from my FPA since October....
  2. I think that's a clear sign you got it!
  3. Almost 2pm EST! Only....5.5 hours left at the latest, at least!
  4. Probably. I'm going to sit at my desk for maybe 10 more min. before I head home. Maybe the email will come sometime during my 1.5 hour commute!
  5. I'm supposed to be filling out these complex order models in Excel for all the programs I'm managing and instead I'm twiddling with the mini Coffeemate creamers on my desk and staring anxiously into my phone!
  6. Oh my goohhhd too much pressure!
  7. Only 20min till 5 on the east coast, isn't it? I guess no emails are going out then?
  8. I'm a marketing associate at a company near Chicago! I graduated from undergrad in Dec 2011 and I've been working here for 6 months. Thankfully I am suuuuper busy today or I would truly go nuts!
  9. I can feel the tension rising in this thread already, lol!
  10. I haven't had any communication from my FPA since October- I think it really just depends on your school! That said, I'm a UK applicant and I am FLIPPING OUT. I'm actually almost to the point where I'm like "send me the rejection already!" Trying to breathe, haha.
  11. Congrats, loveyourheritage! I also applied to the UK for a partnership grant, but I haven't heard anything back-I actually thought it was the 31st we'd hear back! Maybe they're staggered or it depends by grant.
  12. Yeah, my university has an extremely intense and thorough application process. (And it obviously works, because we get a loooot of Fulbrighters every year) Looking back, I'm not even sure how I managed to do it all while working fulltime and commuting, but I'm sure my application was much stronger because of it! I am definitely hoping for the best.
  13. Only a few weeks left, guys!! Aah so excited/nervous. I've gotten into one of the us grad schools I applied to already, but obviously this is my top choice.
  14. I work fulltime, so I never even took a practice test, no time! just studied the math sections/memorized some vocab and got V: 164, Q: 152, AW: 5. Not too shabby, though I think my writing score is too low for what I know were super strong, structured essays. Ah well.
  15. Those are actually the stats from last year's applicants, not this year's! I don't think the specifics are available yet on how many people have applied for this cycle.
