I have contacted them by e-mail for the same issue, they told me that they just got late with updating application so they have them but just have not processed them yet

Ugh, I almost hope that I won't get an interview by phone, because first my phone sucks and I can barely hear what people say (don't have enough money to buy a new one right now), and also my accent is harder to understand... oh well...

That is what I would assume too. My GRE scores are generally pretty low with a AW of 3.5 and 4. But while visiting schools they told me that they look at it as "a foreigners' score", so they don't expect a 6. But anyway don't stress out too much about it, it is not at all the most important criteria in admission.

Might be stupid, but I have a question: how many programs are they? I don't think they are many more than 50 but I might be wrong. (in the US only of course)

Hey everybody! I hope you are all enjoying the Holidays free of applications! I applied to Modern/contemporary American Art History PhD programs and it was... intense! I only have one question for you, if anybody has an idea: when to expect a decision from those schools? Columbia said not before the end of March! Is that real? it sounds so far away! Also I know that might delay my application but one of my professor is being super slow at sending out my recommendation letter. So if you have any advice on how to make him do it a little faster that would be awesome! He is great and I definitely don't want to be rude, he is just super busy, but I hope it is not going to do any harm to my application. Good luck to you all!

I am probably the unluckiest person when it comes to standardized tests, something always happens, (two toefl two crazy experiences, like I took the first one with the flue), so this new GRE, I forgot my passeport and got in 5min lates, spend the 30minutes before crying because they told me if my bf did not make it on time I would not take it that day (meaning not ever considering the deadlines). Anyway, improved my verbal to 154, and I talked to teachers it is apparently acceptable because I am french so that's cool

Well they have three galleries and students have the possibilty of getting involved in the curating of exhibitions. Teachers will also help you a lot, I got an internship through one of mine. Most proffessors have relations and are glad to help you when they can. I don't know if there is anything official about it though, but I would not be surprised if they have official partnerships.
