Hi guys, thank you for all your helpful information. For Decaf`s question, they sent me a email and tell me decision has been available online in the application system. In my opinion, Columbia has its own medical center and hospital which is helpful for students to find internship but its master program always recruit too many students and the qualify of courses for masters are not as good as that of their phd program. Its location also is a big attraction for us who want finding jobs after graduation instead of further study. Yale only recruit 10 master for this program this year, so I think the quality should be also better. And that program include a thesis project, which mean more opportunities to obtain practical experience. It is a really hard decision to make.

Hi guys, do you know anything about the reputation of this program? And I want to go to industry after finishing this master. It is said that CU recruit too many master students every year and most of them could not find decent jobs after graduation. I am just worried this program is not worth the tuition without any funding. Any of your advice would be helpful!

Hi Guys~ Some of my friends have received the master admission from Michigan AA and UC Berkely. And I have also applied to these two programs and I neither got a rej nor an admission till now. I am really wondering that they just reject me without notification or I still have chances to get in these programs. Thank you so much!! Wish all the best for your application

Thank you~ Cyberwulf In my case, it is kind of different. I have taken two semesters of advanced mathematics. Its contents includes Calculus1,2,3~~ So that would be ok. And do I need make some supplemental statement about my transcripts?

Thank you~~ I am so worried cause my poor permance on mathematics-related courses. All of them were taken in the first year in college, you know, did not spend much time studying at that time. And there is no recommendation letter from mathematics or related fields. So these two will be two big backwards for me

STUGGLE with selecting MS programs in biostat these days~~ Seek help here~~ I am an international biology student (with undergraduate GPA 3.7) and now enrolling in a master in biochemistry (GPA 3.65) WITHOUT ANY RESEARCH EXPERIENCEC IN BIOSTAT. I wan to apply master in biostat this fall. My gre score: V510 Q800 AW3.5 I have taken two semesters of calculus, however performance sucks!! ( got B in theses courses), a course in linear algebra (got , probability and mathematical statistics(A). I have also taken courses in programming (C++ A-, MATLAB A). Hope you gus can give me suggestions about Reaches: Harvard, UW Seattle, UCB, UCLA, Brown, UNC More possible: Columbia, USC, Rutgers, Tufts, UC Davis Rochester, Maryland, Northwestern I feel very lost at current stage and eager to know the chances I get into these master programs!
