In at UFL! Thanks God!

I got my financial guarantee letter from my sponsor today. I want to send it to the admission offices that still haven't send me anything. Is it too late?

No, I just checked my profile and there was a link(application decision available) at the bottom.

Same here... Waiting for UVa,UMD,GWU and UFL Three of them started to send out results much earlier and GWU today..I haven't heard anything from them..and frankly I lost my hope.. And there it is: officially out by UVa!

Congrats to all GWU admits..I am waiting hopelessly..It is my top choice:(

I send them an e-mail about this 48 hours ago...still waiting.. I began to loose my hope for other schools..

I see.. I just got only one provisional acceptance of 6 application. It is from SUNY Binghamton but there is something weird in mail..I applied PhD program but it is written in the mail "MA program offers you....." Is it meaningful or just a typing error?

Yes, I will but firstly I need hard copy of letter and then I can start the process. It may take 2-3 months..problem?

I got SUNY Binghamton provisional offer now.. They wait a financial statment from me but I will use goverment scholarship to fund my PhD and firstly I need to show to the govermental office a document proving my admission offer. What should I do now? :wacko:

There are some admits but I personally and desperately still waiting..

I haven't heard anything from UFL,UVa,UMD,GWU,Binghamton yet. Should I count myself rejected anymore?

I hope it is not! It is also one of my top two choices.

Actually, I talked a PhD from Chicago(IR) about this contact phenomenon and he said if you contacted 'the prof' at least 5-6 months before the application and discussed about your topic and your plans, it would help. but contact efforts after october and december make them laugh because they easily understand that you just need an admission offer. Therefore, contact thing does not guarentee anything mostly..
