  1. I'm also one of the Rochester admits. It is my first acceptance, so yeah, I'm really relieved!! I'm crossing my fingers for all of you, guys! P.S.: Sorry for the late post, I had to celebrate a bit
  2. thanks for sharing! I should definitely try to get a new password
  3. Congrats to the UW-Madison and the Ohio State acceptances! ... Still hoping my letter from Madison is delayed :'(
  4. Thanks for the post!! I can't log into the site since I somehow forgot the password. Unfortunately, you can only unblock your account by calling them - which I won't I hope we will get notifications by e-mail, though. Fingers crossed that we all end up in great places!
  5. Guys, I think this is the soundtrack to grad school applications:

    - Just substitute Vienna with the place of your choice :)
  6. I have to admit that I wear Uggs, too. But only when it's below 0°C (≈ 30°F). This thread is so nice, I'm really curious about how grads dress. I think I can be easily mistaken for an undergrad since I mostly wear band/comic t-shirts, hoodies, and sneakers :S Not sure if grad school can change anything about that.
  7. I really hope you're right. Didn't hear anything from Columbia or UCSD :/
  8. The same happened to me today - I think my heart stopped for a few seconds These cruel, cruel people...
  9. 5 down, 2 more to go. Arrghh.

  10. First application is due today and one LoR is still missing. Nice! -_-

    1. Two Espressos

      Two Espressos

I know! Two of my three LoR writers haven't submitted theirs. I'm neurotic! :/

Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way :-P

  11. I'm also an international student and was really worried about my performance in the verbal part. I practiced with the Kaplan flashcards and the Princeton Review book (the strategies are really helpful!) for around 4 weeks, but wasn't very successful at it I ended up with 158 (77%) on the verbal section and hope that it's ok. For my part, I was really happy about the result. My TOEFL scores are fine, too, so I guess it's acceptable. Good luck, aa57! ps: First post, yay!
