  1. im seriously considering going abroad to teach English. Some programs pay for your training and living. If not, then im going to retake the GRE, look for a job with an adult clientele, take a Spanish fluency exam, andddd...possibly volunteer?

  6. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience teaching english abroad? Where can i get certified and was the experience worth it? Is pay good? Any information anyone can share would be great! Im hoping that i can get into a spring program if Fall is a no go for me, but if spring is Also a no go, this seemed like a good opportunity. Thanks!

Will I be able to attend a university overseas and still be a licensed SLP in the states?

  14. talk about worst nightmare coming true!! I totally agree with "if you cant say something nice, then dont say anything at all" when it comes to letters of rec. I think people who do this seriously have no conscience, since they're messing with someones future. My plan B will be to re-take the GRE and do really good on it! Take some courses through open university at my school to raise my last 60 unit GPA, and also take some classes at the local community college to raise my cum GPA, since i know i cant do much for my CSD GPA. Hopefully I can get some other extra experiences under my belt as well- who knows in what though.
