Just left an interview this weekend and the director was saying how there's a waitlist gridlock because of how people wait to hear from other schools but they might be on the waitlist there and so on and so forth and then everything gets jammed up. smh.

Yea I recieved one in the mail. And one on the website for me to print out and frame I assume lol.

You could first contact the graduate director or the graduate secretary of your department to inquire about the status of you application. That's how I found out about a rejection unfortunately.

Mine was for the counseling program.

Rutgers Social Psychology Invites went out today.

Well don't count yourself short- you still have two applications out there. I have a wide variety of research experience but I think if your in undergrad the expectation is that you've done some research. They don't want people who've never done any research for then who knows if you are really serious about grad school or if you will stay after you start doing research. Maybe you won't like it? Just keep the faith. With all that being said there might be different tiers of research experience. Like a strictly literature review based experience versus one where you ran subjects, collected data, and analyzed it using statistics. Good Luck. You will get in.

rejection from maryland yesterday.

I'm interviewing there for health psych in Feb.

Don't be discouraged. I do research with my mentor so I found a while ago. That doesn't mean the invites have all gone out.

Thanks guys I emailed my POI and they said it was a day filled with interviews and for me to let them know who I'd like to interview with.

My mentor at Rutgers asked if I could come to Visit Day in March? Which of course I said yes. But I'm not sure if its an interview day or just a visit.
