  1. I'm at number 4 in education. When she said no one from reversion had been contacted yet I stopped asking anymore questions. I didnt think she would be at liberty to say how far away from hitting the list she was, given how tight lipped they are about the whole process. Not sure how getting a call in September would impact me, as at my institution I either get my grant + assistantship or SSHRC/OGS. By september I will have accepted the first option and will have received payments and I have no idea how that would get worked out. But honestly, as I said before, at this point I'm just moving on. Best of luck to you at #1 though, I'd be pretty surprised if at least one person from the list didn't get the call.
  2. I was told on Friday that there has been zero movement on the education reversion list as well. I too will be mentally moving on, as it doesnt sound hopeful, regardless of how high someone has been ranked.
  3. I was told by the OGS awards officer at U of T SGS that reversion list winners would be notified no earlier than mid-August.

I was given a 14/30 and was listed on the waiting list. Seeing as people in the 17+ are on the list with me, I obviously don't have high hopes. I was told my department that not everyone gets wait-listed, so I'd be surprised if I didn't just make the wait-list cut with my relatively low score. I'm Toronto and got my letter today, by the way.

U of T bureaucracy nightmare continues. My contact at SGS says departments definitely have the lists, but my departmental contacts say they have nothing... the joys of U of T...

Update for the U of T crowd. I live a block away from SGS, so I popped my head in 10 minutes ago and was told they have the results... BUT they are not letting students find out through them. All records will be forwarded to the departments by thursday at the latest, and hopefully tomorrow (their hopes, not mine).

As a fellow U of Ter, thanks for the update. Hopefully tomorrow!!!
  9. It is for the latter. I was given a ranking in my discipline, not Social Sciences.
  10. It would be appreciated. I tried my awards office but they were unable to give me any additional information.
  11. The problem I see with knowing our ranks on the reversion lists is the lack of other information OGS gives us. Is there a general understanding of how many offers are tendered per discipline? I am in the top five for my discipline, but there is a huge difference in my chances if 3 or 13 offers were originally offered. I couldn't pry that info out of the woman I spoke to at the ministry, so I don't know if I should be confident or not. Anyone have info on this sort of contextual information?
