Who on your defense was injured that allowed LeShoure to run 330 yards :-D We also beat you the year after that in football again when Persa was suppose to be amazing. This season we were the worst team in the Big 10 by far. We went 2-11(0-10 Big Ten), so beating us isn't exactly anything to write home about. You caught us on a downturn in bball earlier, maybe you missed it but we beat #1 Indiana, as well as Minnesota. Illinois didn't care about Northwestern until they started that whole "Chicago's Big Ten Team" marketing thing, which looked silly the other night when half the stadium was cheering for Illinois. We also lead the series 129-38 overall in bball and 54-47-5 in football. Boy there isn't much to talk about in the lull between interview and acceptances.

Did you SEE the game on Sunday? Cause I was there with 150 other students. You should youtube it, we all wore purple and pretended to be Northwestern fans till tipoff. There were more Illinois fans than Northwestern fans, especially after our 26-0 run we went on to go up by 30.

Doesn't mean you are going to have 0 fun for the next 4-6 years. At least I hope not...

I mean everywhere has amazing food I'm sure the lake is an added bonus when it's warm though. I just have a preexisted hatred of Northwestern cause I go to Illinois

Oh I just thought the campus was incredibly boring. There was nothing to do. Nothing with the academics of the place. We asked the girl working at the front desk of their union if there was anything fun to do, she said no not really.

Congrats on Northwestern all. I was just on their campus the other day. I'll hold my opinions of it I just got my itinerary for my interview this weekend, it seems like I'll be meeting with 7 Professors for 30 minutes each. I'm not sure if it's just me, or a group of people, or what.

So my letter from MCW came a few days ago, and although I already knew I got an interview, the letter was a nice touch. I can't imagine how excited I would have been to have gotten that first. It was like college acceptances all over again.

I'm waiting on them as well. With their glitchy online application, apparently they were delayed in starting the application process, so I wouldn't reference 2011. Someone posted earlier about the UIC-GEMS interview this weekend but they haven't replied again, so I really have no idea. I applied Dec 26th, but my application was messed up and they told me not to worry about it, but then I did worry about it and got it fixed like 2 weeks ago, so technically I made the priority deadline, but honestly I don't know.

Nice. Their date was Feb 22nd, but I already had an interview so they are having another one in March that I am going to.

Me too. Party time! Haha. I pretty much assumed at this point. I just reread the email, it says "we are unable to accept you into our program at the moment". That makes it sound like a waitlist, but I assume it's a rejection. Odd wording.

Just got a call from Medical College of Wisconsin. Turns out they wanted to know if I wanted to accept my interview or not. Their invite had gotten sent to my spam folder I was like, uh what email?! But I worked it out and it's all good. Woo hoo.

Aren't internationals usually first to get invites though? I would guess unofficial waitlist too, since they apparently sent out rejections. Just weird that we haven't heard any acceptances yet.

Did they send out interview? Someone on the last page said they called and weren't giving out interviews till March or something.

So still nobody has heard from Purdue-Biological Sciences? Did they send out rejections, or anything? It's been so long. What about UIC-GEMS?

ND nice! I was gonna apply but I ran into, problems and I didn't think my updated transcript would get there in time. Would have been a cool interview. Half my family went there.

Yah I am waiting to hear from 3 programs. Haven't heard of anyone getting interviews though, so I don't know what to think.

Idk about you guys but I'm pretty ready to hear from the rest of my programs this week.

Subtract hurricanes, add tornados haha. We had a tornado right outside Champaign last year. There was this big hail storm and we all thought it was awesome and were throwing hail at each other and ignoring the tornado siren cause it always goes off. Like 30 minutes later people started posting pictures of the tornado like 2 miles off campus haha. Whoops.

Haha if you go from Purdue to Illinois it won't get much better. Of course if I go from Illinois to Purdue I'm in the same boat. I kind of want to be on a Big 10 campus again (Half my applied schools are Big 10). Purdue and Illinois are very similar I feel. Although I go to UIUC, I visited Purdue in high school.

Yah just checked my earlier today and it said "Under Review". It's better than Rejected.

Nice! Congrats. The first one sure is a weight off your shoulders. I know, mine was just 3 days ago haha. I applied to Purdue Biological Sciences and bounced between PULSe and the regular program. Haven't heard anything from Purdue Biological Sciences and their app was due Dec 7, yet Loyola was Dec 1 and I just heard from them Monday. Oh grad schools, you so silly.
