I only thought it would make a difference because the UIC student ID suddenly started showing up in my gats account today (it also happened to another person on the results search) so i thought it meant something :/

I notice that the UCI Gats system shows me my UCI Student ID. Did something like this happen before to anyone ? any clue or idea what this means ? Thanks

I got an email from the admissions director asking me to submit my application so that it can be reviewed by their admissions committee. (this happenned 2 weeks ago). I filled the entire application but decided not to submit because of the funding problems and the research doesn't exactly align with my interests. I was wondering, Should I revisit and submit my application ? or the reason I received the email is because they did not receive a good number of applications to the program ? (they offered me to waive the application fee)

I don't know if its too late now, but i'm king of giving up on grad school!

I'm in the same boat as you. I applied to 7 different schools and got rejected from 4 of them! 3 more(Duke, JHU and UC Irvine) to go. but i don't see any chances of me getting into any of those. although fingers crossed!

did anyone else hear from UNC ? the wait is killing me!

I'm waiting to hear from them. I emailed the grad admin co-ordinator, she said the admissions committee is going to meet this week, So i guess we would be hearing something soon!?!?

I'm still waiting to hear about my Ph.D application at SILS, UNC.

I applied only to the Pg.D program UNC-Chapel Hil. Still waiting to hear back from them
