I just logged in to see what was going on, and it is really happening. Are all of you that heard MPP candidates? I suppose they will do as in the past and release by program......and the mid-careers are last; hopefully will hear by COB Friday.

All I know is that knowing decisions may be coming this week means that I won't get a whole lot done at my actual job, as I obsessively check my email. Best of luck to all in the days to come.

Yes. Went on active duty at 17, did my first tour in OEF at 19. Worked full-time through school, going Tuesday and Thursday (8am-8pm) and taking excess courses to graduate in 2.5 years. After military service, I continued to work solely in the area of defense through research and development at MIT.

Does anyone have any insight as to whether or not military experience plays a role in admission to the MC/MPA program? I spent six years on active duty, with two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq before going to ungrad (which I did while working full time). Since separation from the military I have been working for federally funded research and development centers (MIT). I have 14 years or experience in goverment work, but am concerned that my age will limit my chances of admission; I am only 31. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
