I have a phone interview this afternoon, but refused to do it without being in a place where I can check my email simultaneously. I have refused to be somewhere without wifi or my phone all day. This is a problem.

I hate the fact that I am now analyzing everything and am moping my proposed advisor didn't email me and If I don't find out now if have to wait until next week which succcckkks

I unfortunately don't think mine went well at all- they called me late and I was super flustered. But we'll see.... I can dream... When they say they recommended at least 2x the number of people, does that mean like for every partnership university, there was at least 2 people? Or what? And I want to know noooww waaaaah

Hey, an alternate is far better than outright rejection! I heard there's a fairly high (30%ish?) chance of alternates getting in- it just takes a lot longer to hear from them. Anybody know if full grants will be released around the same time/are all Uk things related? I'm panicking I didn't hear anything now.....

Psh I'd check it anyway. How do you do that? Even though I know I'm unlikely to find out before next week, I'm still walking around stressed and freaking out all the time. So not good

I hope you are the only one, because I would probably actually start crying if I thought I didn't get it but they didn't actually release results, and then I'd get my hopes up only to have them brutally crushed when the actual results came out. I think most of us are just a wee but stressed.... =p

UK didn't find out yet- only those going to the US from the UK did T___T Baksdhfklasdjfkj I just got this from my FPA this morning: "You may have heard that the Fulbright news has begun to come out. It is true! However, the timing is extremely early, thus we cannot say with assurance whether all announcements will shift forward or whether this one announcement (Indonesia) is an outlier. In either case, we urge you to be patient. Previously announcements emerged from mid-March until mid-May with the biggest number in April. We cannot predict when the various countries will announce. Each year it plays out differently." I just want to know already!

I temporarily flipped out that the US-UK thing meant they already announced winners and I didn't get it. I swear, this fellowship is going to give me a heart attack...

Worst thing ever: having a country whose notification range is approximately your finals week. Also, I just make my IPhone automatically refresh every minute and have the gmail app on it for instant notification. Bad idea.

Ahhh I'm so nervous- mine is tomorrow!! Do you mind if I ask what sorts of things they asked you about? I have absolutely no idea what they'll even ask about or how to prepare, and as you can tell, am freaking out.
