Does anyone know or have any experience with doing non matriculated study at a school, and then applying the following year?

I agree about berkeley. What is their deal? Am I waiting to see how many phd people who were only accepted for the MS accept before they start accepting straight up MS candidates? Also when is Stanford going to release their acceptances?

In the same position here. I am waiting to hear back froma bunch of schools. The thing that made me feel good was the fact that many asked if You are a veteran on the application itself.

Does anyone know if they will automatically consider you for a M.eng if you don't get in for an M.S. The reason I ask is because I have heard that sometimes berkeley doesn't even take any M.S. Students just PHd folks.

I applied to a bunch of MS programs. It just seems strange to that they all have very few students just going for a masters. Maybe I have just been reading sites wrong.

I am hoping berkeley decides at the same time as their Phd but who knows.

Does anyone know if Phd acceptances and master acceptances come out around the same time?
