So I just got a response from Emory! And it was...NOT a rejection! But kind of weird. Haha. Is there anyone else here on the waitlist for Emory that I could discuss/PM about this with?

I don't know, I think some of these are real and some are fake or really odd - a single Michigan reject? Maybe it was an incomplete app - same with the Minnesota, but I'm definitely not getting any info on their website right now.

Without claims and without another Mich accept/reject, I don't know if I believe that, although that might be my tiny optimistic soul resisting crushing.

Judging by last year's results, yep. So you'd get those tuition offers in March. Which I guess is good - by then we should know if we got in anywhere else?

And why is there a single reject? Do you think they emailed?

So Emory emailed me back and said decisions would be out by the end of the week. I didn't interview or get invited to the visitation weekend though, so I'm kind of confused. But. Uhm. Fingers crossed! I really, really love Emory's fit with me. Just received my first official rejection, ick. Bye UW-M.

I'm debating if I feel better or worse with Gradcafe here. Better: I am not alone. Other people also feel this way. Worse: 3 of my colleges have sent out admits I haven't received and I haven't heard anything from them. The other 8 are dark. AHHHH. Edit: Also, emailed Emory gently asking about where/when for Admission Status and haven't received notice back. Maybe I'm a ghost in the system.

So...I didn't get an invite to interview with Emory, but I also didn't get a rejection email. My friends are telling me to just wait it out, but I don't know - and I know I'm just edgy because, well, obviously with the whole applying thing. Has anyone else had this happen? Am I waitlisted or...? I checked my spam folder, etc. No reject or interview email. And I'm an American living internationally, so no way to call me.
