It can drive you insane, but it can also help you to stop obessing if someone else shares news that it will still be a week, or two, or LONGER before schools send out decisions. They don't really enforce their pre-reqs, so you could probably still take it there. I have taken 2 courses with them and didn't have the pre-reqs for either, and they still let me. I didn't even have to get special permission or anything.

I am leaning towards "good" with funding, because I look at some of my friends now with $60-70K+ in loans, and it just seems awful. Any way you cut it up, you are either paying loans for YEARSSSSS or you are paying a bunch of your new salary each month to pay it down. This is a huge dilemma for me, too, and is weighing heavily on my mind, though. What to do, what to do!

Ugh! Someone just posted in the results that they emailed UT Austin about adding something new to their app and the response back said decisions will be sent out the week of March 18 A lot longer than I had hoped! Guess they are waiting until after spring break. So now I have been told all 3 schools I'm waiting for won't notify for the next couple weeks. Boo! Guess I better take a chill pill and stop obsessing in the meantime.

True dat - I feel like whatever is supposed to happen will happen. Strange things happen for reasons that aren't always known until a while (or even much later!) down the line.

At least you can officially move on now.... sorry though

TalkItOut, I know I shared a little info with you about UT and Austin, but not the program specifically.... I never visited those facilities when I was in undergrad there, so I'm sorry I can't share more info! It just dawned on me that I should have asked you about Northwestern and the facilities/program/etc there since you are currently there! Do you mind sharing any info with me? The good, bad, etc? Would love to hear your opinion! And if you have any questions about Austin or UT generally, I am happy to help out with that

Thanks for calling! That sucks she sounded annoyed - don't they know we are losing our minds? And, yes, at least it's something!!! I will stop obsessing over it for now and wait till next week to think about it!

SLP2B, thanks!! OU has been totally silent! But someone else on here said they called them and they were told decisions would not go out until after spring break...so that probably means late March?!? Still a while to wait! :-/ Good luck! If I hear anything from them I will be sure to post in here!!

Boo! If you find anything out, let us know!!! I guess last year they notified March 14th-ish it looks like for the first round, so I guess it could be a couple weeks.... Thanks for the info! I am HOPING, like you tuckerma, that we will hear this week!

I totally understand... I feel for you. Not hearing from ANYWHERE yet would drive me insane. I have 2 classes - First Diagnostics, then Clinical Methods..... loooong day! Try to get some rest & hopefully tomorrow will be your first good news!!!

YES! I have class 430-10 on Mondays... and I work before that. Mondays REALLY do suck for me! Don't be too nervous! If you are making 96 and 99s on tests you are obviously super smart! Try to relax..... (So much easier said than done!). It seems like SO many schools notified today... I'm sure you'll hear something good soon!

jmarti, do you know how USF notifies? I know you are waiting for them.... I'm waiting for UT Austin which should be by email sometime this week! And also waiting for Northwestern, which hopefully should be soon.... ughhhh!

Nope - In class wishing I had heard more news today!!!

I am in class until 10pm... but as SOON as I get home, I will be having a glass of wine before I pass out to celebrate making it through another day...

I am driving myself crazy. I am just going to re-adjust my thinking and ASSUME I will hear on Friday. That way I can just take it easy until then...... Now let's see if I can live by that assumption.........

I was that way for a while, but I know UT-Austin should be notifying this coming week so I am very anxious for this week to be here!!! I do have 3 exams this week though... So maybe I should focus on studying today rather than thinking about that!!

Saddest thing ever - I woke up today and thought it was Monday, and was excited. First time I have ever hoped it was Monday instead of Sunday..... I am ready to know where I'm going to grad school.

diaz, It should be this coming week. They will likely tell everyone at the same time. i went to UT Austin for undergrad and would looooove to be back there! Such an amazing school. Good luck!! I hope they tell us early next week but I am thinking Wednesday or Thursday probably.
