Today I'm going to wait to hear back from another school (although regardless of tomorrow I will most likely still not be going here) so refreshing a web page is in my sights for the next 36+ hours. I don't know why I'm so obsessed but I guess it is the not knowing which is intriguing. Another day of distracting me from work. Last week, I had to set my alarm to only check gradcafe and email every two hours so I could actually focus on work, uhoh. I'm sure I will be very productive after March 15th

I have actually resisted reading them until your post and then felt the need to reread each per school. It's hard to know when you haven't read everybody else's. ALP0913 - what are you applying for? When did you hear from UVA?

It looks like visiting days last year were March 29 - April 2 or somewhere in there. Looks like Higher Ed was Thursday, March 29 and some of the other programs were two days. Hard to tell which ones. It seems like Tuesday is the day, hoping it's not Tuesday the 12th, it looks like some acceptances were later a few years back..........

I just got the info and it is definitely a packed few days. I think I'm definitely going to go regardless of how the next few weeks turn out. I also want to make the best decision/fit for me. I hope you're in the middle of the country so it's not too far for PA and CA. Looking forward to meeting you all!

I just heard back from one of the grad associates and he said I should get information about the weekend today. He also said that we wouldn't have to RSVP until March 15th so you can probably wait on responding until you hear from some others. I will definitely keep you updated on what I'm thinking. It will be interesting to see where we stand a week from today .

Sadly I don't think they send out decisions until March 12 or 13, still hoping that may change but I'm guessing we still have wait on that one:/

Cool thanks for the update! I'm contemplating the bus or train from Boston to Philly to hopefully save on funds. Still waiting on more information but am being proactive since apparently the RSVP date is tomorrow.

Emg28, I just checked again on BC's agora portal and it looks like they added/reviewed something on my file yesterday. I'm hoping some decision was made and it is on its way. You were told via postal service right? Did you ever get an email or did you ever review your file to see what it says? Oh I hate being in limbo and just want to know either way Hoping for some decisions this week.

Hey Emg28, Thanks for the info, I finally called. They just said my application was still under faculty review. The weird thing is that on my account there was an update to my GREs on 2/11/13 so I don't know if everything was considered complete at the right time. Their process was somewhat irritating since not everything was electronic and all of my items came in over Christmas break. Oh well, got into Penn and if that's the way it plays out, I will still be very excited. I do live in Cambridge though so a move is the only thing I'm not completely sure of. Are you going to BC's days and Penn's? Congrats on all of your acceptances, you have a tough decision and travel schedule! Cheers!

Highered2013, Thanks for the info. I also received the postcards and am ready to make some travel plans. Hopefully we will hear shortly. I'm going to the brunch on Saturday in Boston so figure I'll find out more than if nothing has been sent yet. I'm also waiting on UVA, TC and HGSE. Ready to make any predictions on UVA's day for sending out info?

Did you do any research on when we will get any more info about this? I either am anxiously checking my email to learn more or checking my other applications in hopes they go live soon. Congrats on your other acceptances!

Hi jenjen9ny, I also have been reviewing the rankings and trying to determine the difference for a variety of programs. The next rankings come out on March 12th so perhaps things will change around then. Are you going to any other visit days for other schools?

I also got an email from BU tonight saying they had mailed out my acceptance letter today and I would get it in the next week or two. I guess mine got sent out ahead of time. Hope everybody hears soon!

I'm guessing our timelines are different since I'm applying for a Masters. Have you heard anything about BC? I applied there as well and haven't heard anything except that a first round may have been admitted already and they wait a bit for another round. Good luck today!

How long did it take to hear from them after you were accepted? Have they sent the assistantships out yet or are they sending out later in March?

It was marked complete on 1/22. I live in Cambridge so am guessing people who live further afield will start getting their letters on Monday.

Just got accepted to BU's policy, planning and administration masters in higher education via postal mail. I did not get funding which will hopefully make decisions easier since this was not one of my top schools. I got into Penn on Wednesday with some funding.

I checked at 1:40 p.m. yesterday and it happened to be there. I got an email at 1:32 a.m. today letting me know that my decision is now available. I'm not sure when it was added though because it sounds like somebody else checked earlier in the day yesterday. Good luck. Have you heard from anybody else yet? I'm still waiting on 5 more schools and have started checking their sites all day too, to no avail......

Hi Everybody, Logged into my account earlier today and got an acceptance from the Higher Ed program. I still have not received an email so definitely go check it out. My application was complete on 1/16/13. Best of luck! This was my first response from the schools I applied to.
