  1. I am in the exact same boat! I thought I was mentally decided, but then I decided to visit both and discern further. I went to Duke March 22 and LOVED it; I will be at Yale's Admitted Students Day April 10 and we shall see!
  2. Congrats to everyone everywhere - Duke, Harvard, ND, BC, ABCDEFG....! I also received acceptance to Harvard with 50% scholarship.... Yale's financial aid comes out tomorrow (YIKES!), so I will decide between: Duke (no scholarship, though I was implored to wait out the second round) Yale (no news til tomorrow) Harvard (50% tuition) Vanderbilt (80% tuition) Big things happening for all of us!
  3. Well folks, got an 80% scholarship from Vanderbilt today, so that's pretty cool. Yale says they'll tell me about money on Friday, and Duke said I didn't make the scholarship cut the first round, but I may hear again in April. So that's that. Meanwhile... WHERE THE HECK IS HARVARD??
  4. My understanding is that the answer is yes. I received my acceptance phone call on February 22; I spoke to them via phone call again on February 28 because I had A) not received anything concrete in the mail (which I did just a couple of days ago, now the first week of March) and not received word on funding. They told me that the first round of scholarship is done and they will be re-awarding them once they hear from the first round people. And so we wait....
  5. My mother said I got one at home a couple of days ago. Took long enough!
  6. Hi folks! You all were in my prayers while I was on spring break (cruise to the Bahamas... tough life, I know). While I was on the cruise, I was ACCEPTED by Vanderbilt (my country music-loving boyfriend is thrilled that Nashville is a prospect), Yale (one of my top choices!), and Boston College (who had said they don't accept students out of undergrad, so that was cool)! Congrats to everyone else! Also got declined by Notre Dame... oh well. Fair trade I suppose.
  7. I did get the call of acceptance on Friday for Duke's MDiv program as well - very exciting! I did not hear anything about financial offers. Is that traditionally done at the time of acceptance (like Yale and ND)? They didn't say.
  8. Congrats, ThereWillBeLuke! (I named my dog Luke after my favorite gospel... good choice!) Anyway, I stumbled upon this page and, because hearing others' admissions decisions has given me so much agita, decided to jump in. I am a senior at Loyola University Maryland, recieving a BA in Theology with a double minor in Italian and Catholic Studies and a 3.8 GPA. I have applied, mostly priority deadline where available, to the following M.Div programs: Notre Dame, Yale, Boston College, Duke, Vanderbilt, Harvard, and Loyola Chicago. I have already been accepted to Loyola Chicago; Skype interviewed by BC; and last week was summoned out to ND and went for an interview. I'm getting worried because many of you have heard back from M.Div programs, and I am wondering if I should have!
