I just got an e-mail from Professor Goldman-Hall, I GOT IN!!!!

I have about 6,000 hours and I still haven't heard back... I have a feeling GPA plays a bigger part than I thought. Good luck to everyone who's still waiting! I wonder how many spots have been filled?

Did you e-mail/call them? I'm not sure if I should contact them to follow up or just keep waiting.....

When do you have to submit to SDSU by? I'm wondering if there will be a waitlist in case people decide not to accept the offer.

Are you applying for child and family services or mental health in CA? Have you looked into the stipends (Title IV-E & Mental Health)? Some SW's that I know are still paying off their loans... but it all depends. It's doable!

Have you heard from UCB or SFSU?

Did you also apply for the Title IV-E Stipend? I think SDSU (like other schools) won't schedule interviews until you're admitted into the program... still waiting.

I have a feeling they might be holding off until people reject their offers so it opens up space, if not... then I guess its pointless for them to even look them over if the spots are already all filled...

Oh snap, I just e-mailed Molly before I read this. She said they're still reviewing and I'll know by mid-April. Hope she lets you know over the phone!

I feel the same way about my application... I have a feeling they didn't even really look at it... but you're right, SJSU is one of my "back ups". Hopefully some of us will hear ASAP once other applicants reject their offers. It would be nice to know if people are waitlisted at least.

I applied to CSULB too.. OMG June?! That's so late.... I guess I won't be holding my breath.

Same here! Something I learned from last year is to not check MySJSU so often... it drove me craaaaaaaazy. They don't update it until after they mail you the letter & e-mail you anyways. Hang in there!!!

I applied... haven't heard anything yet. I also applied for the Title IV-E stipend and they will be notifiying people after Apr. 1 A few people received e-mails & phone calls from SJSU in regards to just the MSW Program - it seems like they call mostly on Fridays.
