  1. Weird...if you have posted your site anywhere on here, it could be undergrads checking you out? Just a thought.
  2. Same. I know they're done with portfolio reviews so assuming they'll be contacting people for interviews soon. Not expecting anything from them though since they accept 6 people out of like, ~220 applicants...I wonder how many they interview. Maybe 25? Maybe? Who knows. I'll just be here refreshing my email until they say no. Were you guys getting hits from Ann Arbor on your websites at all?
  3. Too much. I have been extra nice to my partner since he's really gotten the bum end of the anxiety.
  4. Second this sentiment. I really appreciate the narratives as someone who also has the travel bug
  5. I was accepted at PSU my first round of applying and my interview had 1 professor and two grad students asking questions, just FYI
  6. I think some people heard back in late January, page back on the forum.
  7. SMFA sent out an email last week that they were behind with reviewing because of the 37.5 ft of snow that mother nature so graciously dumped on beantown.
  8. This was my second round so I strategically planned a trip overseas. It has been a huge help to focus on planning this adventure. I'm doing a performance piece while traveling since one of my travel buddies is an exceptional photographer. Spending time in my studio has become a habit so I've been "making" small works without the pressure of creating with some intense conceptual basis. I also lined up a handful of shows before we move to whatever university. I agree with BICEO...always retool. Progress in thinking and making. This entire process sheds great light on what you're doing, what you want to do and the resources you need to make such work. I've been checking this forum too much but in the same respect....if interviews go out for a school I applied to, I want to know. I can buffer for the rejection and evaluate my other options. I feel like schools will sometimes drag you through this process.
  9. We're good. Wow. They refunded me. Keep an eye out for emails from FAFSA-application.com. I was on my phone when I saw it and didn't even think. My dad was one of the people who put the original FAFSA form together (he admits it's confusing as hell and apparently was just as much so to put it together)...so I'm going to chalk that one up to karma. PHEW. In case it's not obvious, parents are not helping me through this process haha
  10. I literally got a follow up email directly after submitting....I'm calling my bank now. El stupido.
  11. Installation/3d people: Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh submissions end tomorrow 02/06 at midnight. Apply. https://mattressfactory.submittable.com
  12. Damn. They're interviewing 14 people for Fibers...I bet they take 5-6. That is a guess though.
  13. Michigan sent a first round of rejections last year on this date...wondering if something will go out today too...
  14. I'm totally hating my office job (although totally cushy) right now since I have email up all day. Has anyone listened to any good art podcasts/read any particularly intriguing articles lately? I think I've listening to all the MoMA conversations series, haha.
  15. Bigtime. I feel like I'm a little spastic right now. On a positive note, I did land my first solo show yesterday! May 29th...Pretty pumped...and I'm having a different gallery owner/curator come to my studio tomorrow to do a formal visit and look at some work she's interested in including in an upcoming show. Deep cleaned my studio last night and now it's in appropriate shape to have a visitor. What's everyone working on?
  16. That's asking quite a bit from a U.S. student...especially since funding for international is not as robust. I would definitely call or email and see if they can make an exception.
  17. Skype Interview with Burren next week. Notified via Email. ALL- please please remember to submit your results at the top of the page. Interviews, acceptances and rejections.
