Nice, where are you from?! You can maybe look at Lake City or Greenlake area. If you plan on bussing it. I've lived in the u-district for the past 5 years and love it! But parking sucks close to campus but even free street parking is hard to come by I guess I'm used to it since I've been doing that for about 3 years

I just got off the wait list and will be attending in the Fall! I currently live in the U-district so most likely will be keeping the same place. And I applied to the mental health concentration

Nice! I'm not sure really what to do. I already accepted elsewhere, but UW will be so much cheaper for me (in-state) but I don't want to plan everything on a "what-if"

I got an email from UW around 7:30 PST saying I was placed on their waiting/alternate list

Hopefully, since they've been saying that for awhile..

My friend received hers a few weeks ago

I emailed the director of admissions yesterday and this was the response I received. "Despite our best effort, we were not able to get all decisions out this week. Candidates who are being offered admission to two of our program options were notified this past week. We should finish making announcements to the remaining program and to all candidates being offered space on our Alternate list on Monday. Thank you for your continued patience"

Exactly, it's unfair they did that especially since regular decision folks found out. I'm still waiting from early decision. Either way I had to give my SIR to another school today so looks like I probably won't be attending UW anyways.

It looks like they've been letting people know throughout the week I don't know lol but it does seem weird that they're going to let people know on a saturday

Nope, really hope they do especially since they guaranteed some of us we would hear by the week of march 18.

When I talked to the lady in the SSW office she said we would hear by the end of the week. I applied early decision but there's some regular deadline folks who have heard already as well

You'll love it out here! Except maybe the bipolar weather lol it was snowing this morning but its gorgeous out now. I graduated last march with a major in psychology and minor in education!

I know how you feel. Did you apply anywhere else? Ill say yes to the other school if I I don't hear back. But UW would be ideal since I'm in-state and went to undergrad there.

When I called yesterday they said we should hear back today, I have to let another school know by Sunday so I'm getting kind of antsy. Good luck to you too!
