  1. Doesn't seem very hypothetical judging from your signature... Personally, Georgetown - I don't imagine myself needing much money.. especially if I'm already guaranteed my dream job... that pays for housing. In the long run, I think Georgetown would pay off - although I'm not too familiar with the quality of the specific program you're pursuing. There's something about attending the first IR school though..
  2. I found a few resources online - a few blogs describing the experience. I've heard that prepping for FSWE and the AW part of the GRE should help for the written exam. Prepping for FSOA should help with the interviews. I've been going on the Yahoo groups for resources. Maybe I shouldn't be helping the competition though That's what I was thinking. Though I'm still waiting to hear back from Georgetown... Maybe WWNFF e-mails Georgetown a list of finalists? Wishful thinking here. Good luck!
  3. Thanks legallyproper. Very interesting - I'm guessing that isn't the case for the MSFS program? Seems to be a larger and broader program. Good luck to you too - I'm applying to WH summer internship as well. Fingers crossed..
  4. Anyone in an information security program? I've applied to Syracuse, Carnegie Mellon, and University of Washington - I'd appreciate anything anyone could tell me about these programs. Particularly, how does one prepare for such programs coming from a non-technical background? I've got a few months until I begin in the fall...
  5. Same here - recs from CFR VP and State Dept. senior. Tough year. legallyproper, are you already a Rangel Fellow? Because I thought the fellowship was for those about to enter a masters program, and it seems like you're already in one. Also, full ride at SFS?! Holy crap - people barely get anything from SFS (from what I've seen),
  6. I was accepted into the MPA program - I attended the undergrad there (also Maxwell) as well. From my own experiences, the university tends to be quite generous. I don't have any debt coming out of undergrad; a friend of mine (international student) was offered 80% from the school (although she opted to attend SIPA at full tuition). I also spent a semester in their DC program - many alums in the DC area and the faculty there are well connected. I've met with people from Deloitte, Booz Allen, DOD, DHS, DOE, OMB, etc. if you're thinking public sector consulting or government.
  7. Well this thread had absolutely nothing to do with Princeton WWS.
