Hi! I'm currently a student on the MA. It's a very well-populated MA, and a fair few students choose not to go onto a PhD afterwards (many of which are conversion students). However, the people I know on the course who have chosen to make PhD applications have generally been successful. It's anecdotal but this year myself and others have gotten places on the Oxford BPhil and DPhil as well as receiving PhD offers with full scholarships. So, I wouldn't let the lack of placement info put you off: the department makes an effort to support people who want to go onto further study (putting on pre-application meetings, etc).

I received my DPhil acceptance via e-mail on Saturday evening (UK time). However, someone I know received their acceptance on Sunday evening. So, all the e-mails don't seem to be going out at once.
