  1. I was sleeping and was awoken by a text. Quickly looked at it and almost closed my eyes when I noticed I had a few new emails. Naturally, throughout this LONG waiting process, I eagerly opened my mail (on Iphone) expecting it to be an acceptance letter. So rather than falling back to sleep, I checked and it happened to be the department secretary who first notified me. Needless to say, sleep wasn't to come for a long, long time.
  2. Neither have I (as you already know) however, I also applied late. I called them and they stated that my file was still under review and I should find out soon. Hoping it'll still be good news despite being this late. Good Luck!
  3. We're in the same boat there Nicole Congrats to the rest of you who have gotten the email/acceptance so far tho!
  4. shitting_bricks - I mailed york last friday and on monday they said they hoped that they would announce results by next week or there about. So I suggest waiting a few days give or take. Almost there lol! Good Luck! Ps. Out of curiosity, what are your marks/credentials?
  5. Hey, New to the forums but just curious what your current application status is?! Mine is still 'recommended for assessment' but I know a few people who have other status's including 'Review in Progress by Department' - which is apparently the step after the recommended one. http://www1.carleton.ca/socialwork/2013/2013-14-msw-applicants-admissions-decisions The same link that was posted earlier has been updated and it states that there. Curious to see if maybe they haven't updated our status's or maybe some people are at an advanced stage? Also out of curiosity, when did you guys/gals apply to the program?! It may have to do with how early or late we applied too?! Thanks and good luck to everyone! Ahh I'm so nervous!!!
