Hahaha "rapidly" lolz... That is the best optimism ever to think of anything in this process as rapid (But I feel you-- all of a sudden my notification date came up and it seemed so fast, after having seemed to move at a snails pace for so long).

I was wondering that too. Since the vaccination stuff is all optional, and since it says for foreign grantees only, I'm going to assume it doesn't apply to us? Though it is really ambiguous... How long after you guys found out did you actually get your letters in the mail?

Oh. My. Gosh. When you put it that way (that we applied 6 months ago and that Indonesia found out FIFTY FIVE days ago) it's just insane. Looking back now i actually cant believe how much time has passed. When you add in how long it takes to put together the behemoth of an application, the whole process is practically longer than the grant period itself in many cases...

Is it just me, or does anyone else sometimes get the (albeit irrational, I know) feeling that they just forgot about you/your country? I don't know anyone else who applied for mine, and part of me thinks the rest were notified weeks ago and I somehow just slipped through the cracks. Oh hey irrational thinking, how are you? Thanks for accompanying me through this fulbright process.

Hahaha I know right. $5 buy-in, they've selected all the weekdays in April and half of May, winner take all unless I get rejected, in which case winner splits the winnings with me as a consolation prize. And if I get alternate, winner holds winnings in trust until I find out. Now that we've gone through all this I will of course find out tomorrow... Which would be fine! Win-win.

Haha sooo my family has decided that the time will go by much more enjoyably if they place bets on which day I'll find out and make a pool for the month of April. I will say, it does sound much more enjoyable this way...
