  1. CMU all the way (as long as you get the money)
  2. Go to Wisconsin, then you can either get a job or go to another school (such as Stanford) for your phd's. money talks.
  3. why would anyone go to switzerland for graduate study. the USA is the place to be.
  4. First of all it really sucks that you get to pay for your graduate study. Anyways if I were you I would go to CMU. if you prove how good you really are I'm sure you be able to get into PhD program at CMU or else wherer like MIT Stanford or Berkeley.
  5. I would buy a nice car if I had that much extra money to spend. Seriously you need to do a lot of research before you make up your mind. Will you be able to land ypur dream job, paying you 120k/yr if you get your masters from Boston? Otherwise why do you have to spend that much money just to get your masters degree from some 3rd tier engineering college.
  6. Now I get it. So you will be taking those core courses like Feedback Control/Analog IC/Digital IC/RF IC/MEMS/Fabrication, etc... and will be facing some fierce competition from those nerdy Asian kids. It's literally off the charts. Good luck!
  7. Spending so much money for your graduate study is simply ridiculous. Go to the one that gives you the money.
  8. It's not that difficult (compared to the phd program)... but you won't be able to get any money from Berkeley. so why would you spend so much money just to get a masters? You should aim for your phd in EECS at Berkeley, which is one of the best in the world, and of course you will automatically receive a fellowship/RA/TAship - tuition/stipend.
  9. "However, my ex-girlfriend gave me much strength and... " so your girl friend left you because you didn't get in any phd program then she encouraged you? well life goes on... so good luck.
  10. penn seems like the best choice but you should choose the one that offers you the money - tuition/stipent. spending so much money for your graduate study is simply ridiculous.
  11. the both are good. you should follow the money - tuition/stipend.
  12. you should choose the one that offers you the money - full tuition/generous stipend. provided that you got your fellowship from all four institutions, then you should go to cambridge.
