Thanks so much for that info. Its a little bit refreshing to hear! I am remaining positive, and acknowlding that the waitlist is a huge accomplishment given the fact only 75 ppl are on it. Good luck to everyone else and for those who have been rejected, it doesn't mean you are a bad student or not good enough. Don't let it discourage you!!! IF anything it will make you a stronger candidate for the next round, cause you are more familiar with the process. I'm graduating this year so I have my ceremony and other life accomplishments to look forward too .

Everyone keeps telling me stay positive, be patient, you tried the best you could. But I dont' think they really understand what this wait feels like. What it feels like to have you life on hold waiting for this decision. What it feels like to just want to go to school this badly and the competition is crazy. I know i tried my best on my essays my average is a B+/A- which isn't the best. But i have direct social work experience in shelters, self/esteem empowerment women's group facilitation, employment counselling. IM just thankful I have this forum to air out my fustration. Gd luck to everyone still waiting, I really wish you all the best. IT will be over soon!!!

hmmm I'd def consider that If i dont get into UfT tho year. UGhh this wait is killing me. Has anyone else realized that April 15 is a Monday, so unless UfT coordinates their mailout really well it will be coming right after the weekend :s. Im holding on to hope that the 15 is the last date and that it will be coming this week!!! lol

Yup, saying if I get in, this will be used as my student number. :S does every school do this. I find this very inappropriate, its kinda like getting your hopes up...

I find this to be a cruel and unusual joke!! how dare they send that email and have my heart thumping like that lol. I thought It was initially a rejection email from the first few sentences. Hello Everyone, I have been following this forum for a while and want to say you guys are the reason I'm still sane!!!!! lol, the wait is killing me. I thought I'd join in and participate in the discussion until I receive my letter of admittance ( thinking positive . I only applied to one school this year, the 2 year MSW at UfT, mainly cause I initially wanted to take a year off after my undergrad and secondly, I am no where ready to go out of town (Toronto) if need be to attend grad school. I feel I need that year to mentally prepare. Either way, I never realized how bad I really wanted to get in until this very moment when I am anticipating their decision. Ugh its been so stressful! And now that I hear they won't be sending out their decisions until April 15, I am not looking forward to two more weeks of this . Hopefully Angela was meant April 15 is the latest possible date they will be sending them out. There must be a backlog, cause according to the decision offers from last year, they should be coming in this week. I guess the MSW program is getting more popular, which in turns means more competition......
