Are we expecting Columbia and Yale both next week?

Is it normal for POIs to want to call/skype you after you've been accepted to "chat" about the program? Not sure why the thought of skyping my POI makes me nervous, considering I probably can't be so awkward that they revoke my acceptance ha.

I was accepted a week ago and mine still says no decision, so don't read too much into it!

You shouldn't assume you got rejected from Rutgers! There were a few acceptances on the results page over a week before I got mine, and I saw a few more the past few days. I think they are doing them in waves. I'm not sure if that helps, but I thought I'd try!

What type of events should be expected at the visitation weekends?

To Madison admits: how will you respond to the email?? I'm not sure what the protocol is... Generally, how should one respond to a personalized acceptance email?

Thanks, TMCB. I always regret checking the results page because it destroys my concentration for the day! Attempting to go back to my Kant now and stop compulsively refreshing my email haha.

The fact that the early ones last year came in the mail causes me to also obsessively check my mailbox.

Here's hoping they revert back to 2012 policies and tell us in the next few days.

Haha since it says they only update it once a day at 7am, I usually just check in the morning and then try to tell myself its highly irrational to continue obsessively checking.

Do you think ALL decisions will be that soon? It seemed to me that many admits didn't come out until the first week of Feb last year...

I feel you. I got one today that turned out to be an automated call from CVS....I'm starting to be seriously concerned about my irrational admissions thoughts haha.

Is everyone expecting UCSD decisions around the end of the month/very early next month? Seems like that has been the trend in recent years.

Congratulations to those who have been admitted! Do you guys think that most schools will send an email once a decision has been made? I'm starting to feel that my compulsive application status checking is perhaps a bit irrational?

Not to be a downer, but what is your "back-up plan" in case you don't receive any acceptances?
