I just received the same email! I wasn't really sure what it meant because after my confirmation email I hadn't heard from them. Maybe it means they're gonna make a decision soon?
CONGRATS!! I applied for FT at University Park Campus. How about you? I haven't filled out any forms because I was waiting for my packet to be sent regarding deadlines and other info.
@tiennnthai, I doubt that they need your high school transcript. This happened to me with CSULB so I called to make sure and they said it was just an error. I'm guessing the same thing probably happened with CSUF.
I got a confirmation email from CSULB letting me know they received my app on Jan. 24 and haven't heard anything since! Will probably be another couple of weeks...
Hello! I applied to CSULA (Nov 15), and CSUF (Nov 28). I am also about to submit my app for CSULB. I wasn't aware that CSULA won't notify until February. When I went to their info session they said that the sooner you turn in your app, the earlier you would hear back, which is why I turned it in early. Perhaps I misunderstood??
Good luck!
friedgreentom, I was confused about this as well. I went to an information session for a CSU I'm applying to and they said it was fine to list the references that you will get letters from, even if they're not academic. However, I'm unsure if this just applies to this particular school, so I plan to ask this question at the info sessions I will attend, or just by contacting them and asking.
Well, I think it depends on what you see yourself doing in the future. In what capacity do you enjoy working with children? Do you currently enjoy your undergraduate program in social work?
I started filling out my CSU apps yesterday, but stopped at some parts because I needed clarification as far as the academic reference portion goes and what the schools I'm applying to prefer... I'm planning on applying to So Cal schools (CSULA, CSULB, CSUDH)
